Paul Gray

Paul was born and raised in Mataura. He completed his law degree at the University of Otago in 2002 and worked at a firm in Gore before moving to London in 2005, where he worked as a prosecution and licensing attorney. In 2009, Paul returned to Gore and began work for Smith, Wood & Woods becoming a partner in 2013. These days Paul is a property, commercial, and estate lawyer. Paul has also served on the Southland District Law Society Council since 2015 serving as President from 2021 to 2023. Paul has been a Gore Health Limited director since 2016.

Away from work, his priority is spending time with his wife, Beth, and their three children Oliver, Lachlan, and Georgina, but he also enjoys a game of golf and a bit of fly fishing.
